Societal as well as market trends have always moved rapidly thus creating uncertainty about future perspectives. However, the volatility and uncertainties facing society in 2023 seems more important and forceful than ever. Global supply chains, industrial policy priorities, critical infrastructure dilemmas and global warming are just some of the trends that will reshape our world. More extreme scenarios seem to be needed and new market and societal solutions are required. The energy sector will be part of a new world that are being shaped in front of our eyes.
